BeX performs acoustic show for Wightlink June 8th on the St Clare......






BeX singer songwriter and her band members (Richard Wood acoustic guitar & Kyle Fenton on Cajon / drums) with production & music support from Island company JA Entertainment, performing on the St Clare for Wightlink Thursday June 8th 2017 for the Isle of Wight Festival goers.....

BeX has been invited by Wightlink Ferries to perform an ‘exclusive’ acoustic performance for the Isle of Wight festival goers on board the St Clare vessel on June 8th 2017 on the Portsmouth to Fishbourne car ferry route lunch time sailings – 13:00 and 15:00 from Portsmouth and 14:00 from Fishbourne.

Isle of Wight songstress BeX released her stunning debut album “Story So Far” on 26th May 2017, BeX said; “I am very excited to be performing on the St Clare for the festival goers, this will be a great experience”. With influences growing up listening to the likes of Eva Cassidy, Carole King, these artists really have inspired her creativity, BeX style brings the elements and qualities from her favourites artists P!nk, Sheryl Crow & Anastacia, and a country feel of the Dixie Chicks & Lady Antebellum, and with the essence of all these influences 'BeX' Creates her own unique and original sound as an artist/ songwriter in her own right.

The album is a crossover of Country / Americana with a strong rock/pop element, and BeX has performed selected tracks for BBC Solent introducing show with Stephanie Nieuwenhuys and with an exclusive performance for BBC Radio Bristol – Livvy & Chrissie show and guest appearance on Made In Bristol TV, while making the playlists at Bishop FM, Radio Woking, HFM Radio, Bishop FM, Croydon Radio, Surrey Hills Radio, Channel Radio, WCR FM, Vixen 101, Southside Radio, Express FM, Radio Wey, Riviera FM.

Other features include: both singles “Time to Stop the Rain” and “Red Flag” being added to the playlist within major stores across Australia including: TAG Heuer, Virgin, Karen Millen, McDonalds, Le Cog Sportif to name a few, plus  Q&A’s feature in the latest edition of the ''National Express Magazine'' “All Magazine” in New York and “CelebMix” Magazine Features.

BeX's music and style of writing has a blend of Country/ Americana, rock & pop, and she delivers strong story telling through her creative lyrics, catchy hooks & smooth vocals with uplifting melodies. BeX trained as a professional Singer, Dancer & Actress in London and has worked all over the world on various shows and productions including performances at prestigious venues including; The Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty's Theatre, The Troubadour, The Bedford, Radio (RTP) ,Sky TV, The BT Tower, performances at AD NEC - for the King Of Dubai & VIP guests, and BeX was on the the same line up Olly Murs in Scotland for a charity event, and much more.

Whilst performing and travelling over the years BeX discovered songwriting was her true passion & what she loved to do. BeX has been collaborating with a wide range of Grammy recognised writers, artists and producers for her debut album “Story So Far”. BeX is building a diverse catalogue of songs for the future writing for various projects including; TV & Film and artists collaborations include; Award Winning songwriter/producer 'Alan Glass' (Aretha Franklin, George Benson, Earth Wind & Fire) and working with renowned music producer ‘Greg Haver’ (Manic Street Preachers, Melanie C, Tom Jones) 'Devine Evans' (US x5 Grammy producer/songwriter for Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake) on the book & soundtrack “Sheet Music - The Diary Of A Songwriter'' which BeX was one of the chosen 100 women from across the World to be part of the book and soundtrack.
